South African-born trade relations and strategic partnerships specialist, Melony brings over 18 years of expertise to luxury and sustainable tourism. With roots in the Cape Winelands and ancestral ties to Southern Africa’s first peoples. She has represented many prestigious African brands over the years as well as consulted to some very respected travel organisations fostering strategic partnerships between hospitality providers and luxury travel agencies while guided by responsible tourism practices.

Beyond her consulting work, Melony curates transformative community-driven dinners, creating spaces of connection for artists, executives, and fellow epicureans worldwide. A Stellenbosch University BSc graduate, she has lived in Cape Town, Johannesburg, São Paulo, New York, and Los Angeles, calling the United States home for nearly 20 years—the last eight in Miami Beach, where she leads Surfrider Foundation Miami’s Ocean Friendly Restaurant program, combining her passion for culinary experiences with ocean conservation.
