The new Wilderness Mokete luxury tented camp has opened in the Mababe Wilderness area on the eastern edge of the Okavango Delta in Botswana.
The Wilderness area in Mababe covers over 5 0000 hectares of private concession land.
Wilderness Mokete features nine en-suite canvas tents and a communal tented lounge area, linked by walkways at ground level. Luxurious interiors and modern amenities include inverter air conditioning systems and Wi-Fi in all bedrooms.
Each bedroom in the tented suites has a retractable roof, allowing guests to stargaze at night.
With no other commercial properties in the area, guests can choose to stay out on drives as long as they wish.
The camp is fully off-grid, utilising renewable photovoltaic energy systems.
