Lemala Camps and Lodges is set to open its latest addition, Lemala Osonjoi Lodge, in the heart of Tanzania’s Ngorongoro Conservation Area in July 2025.
Located on a hill near the Ngorongoro Crater rim, the lodge features 20 spacious guest suites – each with a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, and large picture windows. Amenities include a cozy lounge, bar, outdoor viewing deck, indoor heated swimming pool and a secluded spa suite.
The addition will complete a circuit of Tanzanian lodges including Arusha at Hamerkop House by Lemala, Mpingo Ridge in Tarangire and Nanyukie and Kuria Hills in the Serengeti.
The lodge has reunited the same team of architects, designers, site managers and construction professionals who delivered Mpingo Ridge and Nanyukie in 2018. The design features contemporary elements that integrate with the environment to minimise the ecological footprint. The team has collaborated with local small-scale manufacturers and artisans to provide local community benefits.
Activities will include game drives and escorted walks with a Maasai guide.
