The relaunch of a direct seasonal flight between Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) and Vilanculos adds to a comprehensive schedule that includes flights from Johannesburg to Vilanculos, Pemba, Tete, Nampula, Maputo and Beira. Offered from July to January, the KMIA-Vilanculos flight presents new opportunities for travellers to craft itineraries combining the Kruger National Park with exotic destinations such as Bazaruto and Benguerra islands.
A combination of Airlink flights offers travellers the opportunity to link multiple destinations seamlessly on a single-ticket itinerary. Through a network serving over 45 destinations in 15 African countries, the carrier connects travellers to unique safari destinations in Botswana, Eswatini, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Tanzania, Kruger National Park, Eastern Cape, Western Cape, and KwaZulu Natal, including marine safari experiences in Mozambique and Nosy Be in Madagascar, or desert safaris in Namibia. The commencement of six weekly flights from Windhoek to Victoria Falls in April this year, and the July launch of a thrice-weekly service connecting Windhoek to Maun, both operated by Airlink franchise partner FlyNamibia, have recently enhanced regional connectivity.
